Cortijo Rosa Blanca has recently been renovated and landscaped to bring you the perfect villa wedding experience in Spain.
A traditional Cortijo located in a picturesque valley in the heart of the Andalucian countryside yet only 20 minutes from the beaches of Marbella. Cortijo Rosa Blanca can sleep 20 guests in spacious accommodation and comes with over 6 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, orchards and woodland with space for weddings/events of up to 90 guests.
The location of the Cortijo offers you a secret hideaway with a stunning backdrop of mountains and a pretty river running through the valley which finishes with a stunning waterfall and pool area where you can swim in the crystal clear spring water. The surrounding area is a nature reserve with an abundance of wildlife and interesting walks to enjoy whilst watching the sun setting over the mountains or watching it rise early morning from the sea. Tranquil beauty at its best.
The exterior of the property has been carefully designed to create an air of romance and charm, using an abundance of scented Mediterranean plants such as Jasmine, Lavender, Roses and Lilac with various terraces offering shaded reading areas, scented courtyards, vine covered dining pergolas and pretty vistas wherever you look. The perfect location for a dream wedding!
A beautiful private area has been created for you and your guests to use during your stay that is separate to the wedding gardens and terraces. This keeps the wedding areas a little more special for your big day and also means that you can continue to use your private gardens and pool area on the day of your wedding whilst the set up is happening in a separate area. This pretty walled area leads from the main kitchen to a covered terrace with bar and seating area. A beautiful pergola covered in scented climbers covers a large wooden table where you and your guests can enjoy dining together in the shade. Next to this is the large swimming pool surrounded by sun terraces furnished with sunbeds a large daybed cabana. Also a perfect area for a chilled out post wedding pool party!
The interior of the Cortijo has been beautifully decorated by Rachel Rose in a classic yet romantic style with antique flooring, wooden ceilings and a pretty selection of European antiques. Every room comes with seriously comfortable beds and the finest bed linens and luxurious bath towels. The accommodation is designed to offer you and your guests the maximum privacy and comfort for your stay, with the aim to be a luxurious home away from home.
YOUR ACCOMMODATION
Casa Amor: A luxurious getaway for our couples to enjoy some private time together. The honeymoon cottage has a large lounge area with French doors opening out to its own covered dining terrace and large courtyard garden. The lounge also has private access to the main kitchen and access to the pool area. Upstairs is a spacious mezzanine area with Juliette balcony and with its dressing tables, mirrors and day bed it has been designed to be the perfect area for the Bride and Bridesmaids to get ready together on the wedding day. Leading from the mezzanine is the large bathroom with romantic roll top bath and separate shower room. Next is the master bedroom with its stunning antique superking size bed and French doors opening onto the full length balcony with beautiful views across the gardens and mountains.
Casa Jasmin: Leading directly from the central courtyard is a private 2 bedroom apartment with open plan lounge, dining and kitchen. There are two bedrooms with king size beds both with French doors leading onto a private terrace. This apartment is perfect for families.
Limonero: Reached via private steps from the central courtyard is a first floor bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite shower room. It also has a pretty breakfast terrace overlooking the central courtyard. There is a connecting door that leads to Limonero enabling these two rooms to be connected for family use.
Mandaraino: Reached via steps to the rear of the courtyard is a pretty first floor bedroom with kingsize bed, ensuite shower room and tea/coffee making facilities. French doors lead onto a very large terrace with lovely views of the gardens and mountains. There is a door to Limonero enabling the rooms to be connected as two bedrooms for family use.
Olivo: A first floor en suite room with private entrance via a staircase to the rear of the courtyard. Very pretty and private room with king size bed, luxurious shower room and tea/coffee making facilities. El Olivio shares a very pretty roof terrace with Mandarino.
Naranjo: A first floor en suite room with private entrance via the reception lounge. This room has a luxurious superking size bed, ensuite shower room and very pretty arched French doors and Juliette balcony overlooking the central courtyard.
Jacaranda: A ground floor one bedroom suite with private access leading directly from the central courtyard with beautiful king size bed and luxurious shower room.
Mimosa and Lavanda: Two kingsize bedrooms with luxurious ensuite shower rooms. These rooms are accessed via the pool terrace and both have direct access to the main kitchen.
Communal Areas: Reception lounge – A large lounge area leading from the central courtyard and leading onto the rear courtyard, gardens and pool area. Main Kitchen – A pretty communal kitchen with entrances from central courtyard and the pool bar/BBQ area.Children’s Room – Between the kitchen and pool bar with TV, DVD and various games for the children.
